About the author
Anna Glazova lives in Chicago and Hamburg but writes in her native language, Russian. She has published two volumes of poetry, Pust' i voda (Let Water, Moscow, 2003) and Pyetlya. Nyevpolovinu (Loop. Unhalved, Moscow, 2008). Twice Under the Sun is a selection of Anna Glazova's lyrical texts from over seven years.
Currently, she is teaching Comparative Literature at Northwestern University (Evanston). Anna Glazova has translated into Russian Robert Walser's The Robber, Ladislav Klima's The Pilgrimage of a Blind Snake to the Truth, and Unica Zürn's autobiographical prose. She has also contributed to the translation of an anthology of New Zealand poetry.
