About the author
Augustus Young was born in Cork, Ireland, in 1943. He is the author of many
books of poetry. The autofiction Light Years, his first full length
work in prose, was published in 2002, followed in 2005 by Storytime.
Numerous poems and prose pieces have appeared over the years in anthologies
and periodicals in Ireland, America, the UK and online. His most recent full
length publications are The Secret Gloss: A Film Play on the Life and Work
of Søren Kierkegaard and The Nicotine Cat
and Other People: Chronicles of the Self. He produces a regular webzine
which can be seen here.
