The Shearsman Review

Editor: Ben Hickman

The Shearsman Review continues the central historical role, recently in abeyance everywhere, reviewing has played in the reception, dissemination and indeed production of new work in contemporary poetry. It takes up Shearsman magazine’s own previous contribution in this area, itself the subject of a five-year pause, and will function as an independent forum for the reading and discussion of all types of interesting new poetry from the UK and around the world. It is hoped The Shearsman Review will be one of many contributions to a much-needed new review culture for poetry in the UK.
New titles for review should be sent to: Ben Hickman, Director, Centre for Modern Poetry, School of English, University of Kent, Canterbury, Kent, CT2 7NX. Contributors and potential contributors should email me at the address above.
