Richard at 80

Richard has been a devoted friend to Pembroke and our students for many years now. He has led many students to an understanding of and love for literature, poetry, and writing. He has helped them to find ways of expressing themselves. He has shared his own poetry and writing with us all. He has been an inspirational presence, and a kind one too. He has brought a richness of interpretation and deployment of language with him, and our students would be infinitely the poorer without him and his work with them. Thank you, Richard.
