Alara Adilow (1988) is a poet of Somali descent, living in Amsterdam. In 2019, she reached the final of the NK Poetry Slam. She has published in De Gids, Het liegend konijn, De Revisor and Tirade , among others. Alara has been selected for the residency for transgender & queer people at Museum Arnhem. Her first collection, Mythen en stoplichten was published in Amsterdam in 2023.
