Glazova, Anna
Anna Glazova lives in Chicago and Hamburg but writes in her native language, Russian. She has published two volumes of poetry, Pust' i voda (Let Water, Moscow, 2003) and Pyetlya. Nyevpolovinu (Loop. Unhalved, Moscow, 2008). Twice Under the Sun is a selection of Anna Glazova's lyrical texts from over seven years.
Currently, she is teaching Comparative Literature at Northwestern University (Evanston). Anna Glazova has translated into Russian Robert Walser's The Robber , Ladislav Klima's The Pilgrimage of a Blind Snake to the Truth, and Unica Zürn's autobiographical prose. She has also contributed to the translation of an anthology of New Zealand poetry.
